Nature Therapy

Recent decades have seen an increasing interest in the healing and therapeutic potential of nature and the potential of green care interventions for the benefit of mental health.

Without the confines of four walls, there is a levelling between therapist and client when working in nature. Clients often tell me that they would not have shared something with me in the first session had we been in a room together. With the outside influence of the trees, wind, and weather, the direction of sessions can be influenced by a great and wonderful third force during therapy. These session are often combined with indoor sessions at locations nearby when necessary, or when requested.
